Fair Ladies and Knights, Turkey Legs and Ale....

...it can only mean one thing. It's Jonah's f'in birthday and we're going to the Maryland Renaissance Faire. Hells yeah.

And he rented a schoolbus.

Jesse, while hopped up on wisdom tooth extraction painkillers, still expertly fashioned Jonah a helmet fit for a king

Simon promptly stole it and put it on (he likes putting cardboard things on his head, see archives)

Our noble steed

Jonah bravely strode up and down the aisle, rallying the recruits

Hark! A Jingle Wench!

(Note the disclaimer) I see that it mentions nothing about my purchased sweet buttered corn not appearing as a beautiful lady. This could cause problems.

Lesson One: Mead is gross

Lesson Two: Turkey Legs are delicious

Minstrel! Serenade us with your purchase from the Jingle Wench!

Joust!

I'm not sure what was going on here, but it was funny

So much food....

Jonah, we know you're hungry and it's your b-day, but you don't have to fit it all in your mouth at once you know

Breakfast!! Cheese Toast!! (it's delicious, thanks Adrienne)
Note: Simon kept saying Maryland's the south and the Marylanders and the North Carolinian kept denying it, but then Simon was so excited about going to the "BoJangles" in North Carolina cause he would finally get to experience something really southern. But I totally saw a BoJangles here like 10 minutes from my house, so.....
